The Colorful Casita project is a transformation of a 1960s ranch into a family-friendly haven. This home was purchased by grandparents next door wanting a welcoming space for family and friends.
The Challenge: Originally a choppy layout with low ceilings and poor lighting, we opened up the living areas to enhance light and space, creating an environment perfect for gathering.
Design Transformation: We remodeled the entire home, including new bathrooms and a stunning kitchen, while honoring our client’s passion for folk art. The transitional style features neutral furnishings that beautifully showcase her vast collection.
Key Features:
Open Concept Living: Enhanced flow and light by connecting the living spaces.
Child-Centric Design: Playful and safe for family gatherings.
Kitchen Showcase: A standout backsplash of Zellige tile with a unique pattern over the cooktop.
