To say this home was remodeled is an understatement. It was a very tight 3 bedroom farmhouse, with a small carport, in a small town just outside of San Angelo, Tx. The makeover consisted of a large addition, including a master suite with his and her bathrooms, a laundry room, and library nook. The exterior façade was completely transformed by applying a German smear on the brick, replacing all the windows, adding an entry and new front door, and new 2 car garage. Our clients knew they wanted this home to be beautiful and well appointed, and we were very eager to take on the challenge.
Her master bath is now quite elegant and glamorous. The special feature of this space is the tub- it is framed in with a arch, the back wall is clad in antique mirrored tiles, the large sconces are swan-like, and we installed a skylight above, which emits a gorgeous ethereal glow. His bath is handsome and elegant with walnut custom cabinetry, gray hand-made glazed ceramic tile, and marble counters.
The rest of the home was updated with new floors, tile, bathroom remodels and new furnishings, window treatments, art and accessories. We had a blast designing the bedrooms for their teen daughter and son.
The house on Main Street is the most charming and attractive home, and unrecognizable from the original elevation.
